The Squadron’s annual cadet mess dinner will be held at the Lviv Ukrainian Hall on Sunday evening March 3rd.

This dinner is one of the high lights of the cadet year and all cadets and their parents are all invited to attend.

Tickets which are $20 for adults and $18 for cadets will be on sale this week.

Staff Mess Dinner

The annual Squadron Staff Mess Dinner was held on Saturday evening in the Officer’s Mess of the Ontario Regiment. While the evening is described as a mess dinner there are no uniforms and even fewer speeches. It is really just a special evening for current staff and alumni to come together for a semi-formal dinner and an evening of friendship with those who spend so many hours supporting the Squadron’s  activities. Although it was not  mentioned at the dinner it was interesting to note that there were no less than five squadron staff and alumni present who have been presented with the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee medal.  An impressive compliment for the devotion and effort that this Squadron provides to the community and our country.

The evening always concludes with a Karaoke session where staff members can demonstrate their vocal powers (or lack of) by entertaining the group with their rendition of popular songs.
