Uniforms – Orders of Dress

Ceremonial Dress – C1 (link to Annex C Ceremonial Dress – Air – Canada.ca)

A formal order of dress, worn on occasion including:

  1. formal ceremonies or parades;
  2. guards of honour; and
  3. church services or parades.

Mess Dress – C2 (link to Annex F Mess Dress – Air – Canada.ca)

Optional formal order of dress worn on the following occasions:

  1. mess or formal dinners; and
  2. other occasions as ordered.

C3 – Routine Duty

C3A – At the discretion of the squadron CO

C3B – At the discretion of the squadron CO

C3C – Travel dress. Service dress at the discretion of the squadron CO.

C5- A functional order of dress worn when participating in specific environmental training such as marksmanship, field training or flying.

C5A – A functional order of dress worn when participating in specific environmental training such as marksmanship, field training or flying.

C5B – A functional order of dress worn when participating in specific environmental training such as CAF deployments or flying.

C5C – At the discretion of the squadron CO
